Wireframing is the first and most important step of a design process. It is used early in the development process to establish the basic structure of a page before visual design and content is added.
Generally, the wireframe’s visual characteristics are blandt; typically limited to a monotonous color theme, lines, and boxes that approximates the positioning and levels of visual hierarchy in the design. It is adviced to keep wireframes simple, and only add details that represent the core structure of your design and interface flow.
Work the pencils.
Getting over the first step might be a crucial part. It is adviced to sketch or atleast scribble your wireframe on a paper before taking it to a computer designing software. It is faster and easier, and it gives you a better idea of your design when going in clean without any preconcieved ideas. As first impressions go a long way especially when initiating a promising project, sharing scribbles to the clients and team members might not resonate as expected. Only after the complete structure is laid on paper is it adviced to use the help of a software.
Wireframe should lay out the details necessary to visualize how the page will be structured, what’s the layout, the size of the typhography, elements spacing, where images, logo should be placed, what happen the element after clicking, popups and consider all of the elements and mentioned its properties in a content box. make this very clear and minimal. no need to waste time to use the colors or your design hardwork in here.make it grayscale and use 2 or 3 colors is enough. A wireframe is all about presenting a visual guide for the framework of your design and how it will work, not how attractive to the eye it is. only consentrate to create the process flow and the placement of the elements. here you can use simple line, image box instead of the text image. wireframes ensure the page content and functionality are positioned correctly based on users needs. after the completion of the wireframe client should understand the procedure and process of your design.
Advantages of Wireframing
Wireframes are quick, cheap and easy to create and quick to be approved and you can easly change the requierment from client. And as the project moves forward they can be used as a good dialogue between members of the project team to agree on the project vision and scope. It saves money and your valuable time.
